Welcome back Second-Year Fiat Lux Scholars!
We have a dedicated team of program staff that are committed to helping you along your journey at UC Merced. Fiat Lux scholars must complete annual requirements to maintain active participation and eligibility in the program. Please note that each program requirement must be completed every semester. For example, 1 Pro-Staff Scholar Meeting must be completed in the Fall semester and in the Spring semester, for a total of 2 Pro-Staff Scholar Meetings for the academic year. Semesterly Requirements:
- 1 Pro-Staff Scholar Meeting
- 2 Lead Scholar Meetings
- 2 Workshops:
Scholars have the option to complete 3 Fiat Lux-hosted workshops each semester,
or 2 Fiat Lux-hosted workshops + 1 outside/non-Fiat Lux hosted workshop on campus to fulfill their 3 workshops requirement each semester.
