Spring 2021 Fiat Lux Job Performance Evaluation

This evaluation form is intended as a tool to assist the student employee and the supervisor in communicating the student's performance and continued employment in the unit. 

RATING DEFINITIONS:

1. Unsatisfactory - Unacceptable performance; immediate improvement needed.

2. Improvement Needed - Marginally acceptable performance; performance weakness needs correction.

3. Meets Expectations - Meets the requirements of the job.

4. Exceeds Expectations - Above average.

5. Exceptional – Surpasses performance standards and expectations; superior; outstanding.

Knows and understands the roles of student staff position and is able to adjust accordingly in working with scholars. Also understands and acts on the difference between providing advice and empowering others including fellow student staff. Fulfills applicable position duties and responsibilities while demonstrating an understanding of the goal and purpose of that position.
Consider the thoroughness, accuracy and orderliness of completed work.
Consider the amount of work completed and the volume of output in relation to the nature and conditions of work performed.
Consider follow-through and reliability. Attendance and punctuality are factors but also initiative shown to complete tasks. Understands group dynamics and is able to adjust leadership to meet the needs of the group and foster engagement.
Willing to accept all job assignments. Works harmoniously and effectively with fellow workers, supervisors, staff, faculty, students and others. Accepts direction and constructive criticism. Is helpful in interactions within the team as well as with scholars.
