FLSP S19 Committees

Spring semester is a busy semester! Not only do we have to plan our normal programming but we have a variety of special events occuring. In order to expand our professional skills and collaborate within other teams in our Fiat Lux student staff we will be having four committees. Ideally we are going to have one representative from each team in each committee. The committees are as follow:

1. Hiring Recruitment Committee - This committee will be in charge of planning and hosting our Fiat Lux Information Sessions and tabling sessions to present on the different positions we have. Overall, this committee is centered around recruitment to ensure that we are getting top candidates.

2. End of the Year Recognition Ceremony Committee - This committee will be in charge of planning our End of the Year Recognition Ceremony for our graduating seniors. This committee will plan logistics such as decorations, food, as well as printing certificates and arranging the stoles for graduating seniors.

3. Faculty Reception Faculty Outreach Committee - This committee will be in charge of outreaching to faculty in order to advertise our Faculty Receptions. This may include going to the different faculty offices around campus and talking about our receptions.

4. Bobcat Day Committee - This committee will be in charge of planning the logistics for our Fiat Lux Information Session on Bobcat Day for prospective scholars and their parents. This is crucial to ensure that we make prospective scholars and their families feel comfortable on their first introduction to the Fiat Lux Scholars Program.

Below please rank your preferred committees by most wanted to least wanted (1 being the most wanted and 4 being the least wanted). We will then take these into consideration and place you all into committees. Please fill out this webform by 11:59PM TODAY, February 1st.
