Congratulations on being one of the selected students to be offered acceptance into the Fiat Lux Scholars Program!
This is the last step to confirm your acceptance into the Fiat Lux Scholars Program. By completing this Confirmation of Acceptance Form, you agree to the terms and conditions stated here and communicated to you via mail/email.
Below you will find the Fiat Lux program requirements that you will be expected to complete each semester as a 1st year student at UC Merced:
- 1 Social
- 1 Faculty Reception
- 1 Professional Development
- 2 Fiat Lux Counselor meetings
- 3 check-ins with a Community Scholar
- 3 Workshops
- 4 hours of Study Session each week
This program is a 4 year commitment, and there are less requirements for each year that you are in the program. Those will be communicated to you at the beginning of each year.
